Mitacs is currently accepting applications/proposals for Mitacs-Accelerate InDev.
Mitacs-Accelerate is Canada’s premiere graduate internship program. It connects companies with over 50 Canadian universities through graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, who apply their specialized expertise to business challenges. Interns transfer their skills from theory to real-world application, while the companies gain a competitive advantage by accessing high-quality academic expertise. InDev Internships differ from Mitacs-Accelerate Research Internships by project scope. Projects acceptable for InDev include the advancement of a product, process, or system within an industrial collaborator, but do not include novel investigation (research).
Deadlines
- Applications/proposals due: accepted throughout the year
- Decisions announced: please allow a minimum of 2-3 weeks for proposal review and processing of single applications
- Projects can begin at any time
A completed proposal includes:
- Prepared proposal template
- Memorandum signed by all parties
- Current C.V. of the intern
- Conflict of interest declaration if applicable
